The organization purchased 10 Ukrainian-made PD-2 unmanned systems with mobile ground stations. The flight radius of the UAV is more than 200 km.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The charitable foundation “Return Alive” implemented the most expensive project in its history \u2014 it purchased 10 unmanned PD-2 complexes with a total cost of $8.5 million. About this organization reported<\/a> to herself on Facebook.<\/p>\n

As it became known, with charitable funds donated to the foundation, it was possible to buy 20 PD-2 aircraft and 10 ground stations converted into mobile command control points.<\/p>\n

“This is a victory for the state level and for each of you!” – the organization emphasizes.<\/p>\n

PD-2 is a reconnaissance UAV developed in 2020 by the Ukrainian company UkrSpecSystems. The flight radius of the UAV is more than 200 km. They can fly more than 1 thousand km on one tank and work in the air for up to 12 hours.<\/p>\n

The ground control station provides control of two aircraft at once.<\/p>\n

The PD-2 does not need an airfield to take off: they can take off vertically. In addition, they can automatically track the movement of targets.<\/p>\n

“If, say, a Russian tank moves in the frame, the UAV camera can automatically move behind it,” the fund said.<\/p>\n

PD-2 will adjust strategically important strikes carried out, for example, by “Point Y” or the American missile artillery system HIMARS.<\/p>\n

“These complexes will fall into the hands of experienced, professional pilots. PD-2 1 are operational-tactical level drones. They cannot be used in inept hands and for any purpose,” the organization also noted.<\/p>\n
